What a fantastic innings by the suresh raina, he scored 99 runs to let chennai score 223 runs. Other players who contributed good were Micheal Hussey (67) and Murali Vijay (29). 

From Hyderabad risers, Only parthiv patel was able to make some runs and he scored 44 runs from 30 balls. And hyderabad was only able to make 146 runs in 20 overs with loss of 8 wickets. 

Mohit Sharma from Chennai ball very well and took two wickets.

At the end, Suresh raina was given man of the match award for his outstanding batting. 

Saying from some players:

Dhoni: 'Nothing worked for us in the last game. Raina was unlucky not to get a 100 but was lucky to get 99. We never played in the last game. We had to discard that. We had won 7 games in a row before that.

Sangakkara: 'They batted very well. The wicket was pretty good for batting. We did not execute our plans well. Steyn bowled the right lengths throughout

Hyderabad: 146/8 (20.0 Ovs)
Chennai: 223/3 (20.0 Ovs)
Chennai won by 77 runs
Chennai is really at their peak this season and have already won 10th game out of 13 that they played this season.
2 of the lost games were very close ones and one loss to Mumbai which was a shameful one was unconvincing.
After being dismissed for 79 in their previous game, Chennai came back strongly as expected and scored 223 against the best bowling attack of Sunrisers Hyderabad in spite of first over being a maiden.
Hussey and Raina were brilliant with bat and all the bowlers contributed with the ball.
It was all together a team effort and Raina missed out his century falling short of 1 run.
He remained not out on 99. He has yet scored another 400 runs in this IPL again.

It is good to see Suresh Raina coming in back into form and that is absolutely some good news for Chennai fans.
What might worry Chennai fans is that Murali Vijay has not yet got into momentum and has been struggling throughout this IPL.
On the other hand it was a surprise that the best bowling unit all of a sudden leaked away so many runs with the likes of Dale Steyn, Ishant Sharma who was blasted here, there and everywhere and Amit Mishra seemed to have lost his entire line and length.
For the last few matches, Dhoni has not been contributing much but Hussey has been amazing throughout this season of IPL. He is currently holding Orange cap as well and there is a close contest going on between him and Chris Gayle.
Let us see who get hold of this cap in the end.

I am rather surprised that Hyderabad having the best bowling unit in the current 6th edition of IPL, they have given away so much of runs. First over was a maiden and had that gone for 10 runs, the score could have been even more massive and same with the defeat.
Hussey as usual has been in terrific form and Raina has got back his just at the right time. His coming back to form is a good relief factor for Chennai while for opponents, it is like a tension associated with headache. He is not only a classical hitter of the ball but a slogger as well.
Dhoni, Bravo and Jadeja have won few games on their own for Chennai and it will be great to see them doing well in playoff as well.
