I doubt whether most of the people might have noticed this or not but after the match between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab got over and before the beginning of match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Pune Warriors India, Chennai was placed on the top in the point table and still is.What was worth noticing was that even Orange cap and purple cap was with Chennai Super Kings player.
Mike Hussey was the owner of Orange cap which didn't last long and Chris Gayle snatched it again in just next half an hour.
Dwayne Bravo has snatched Purple Cap from his T&T team mate Sunil Narine and currently holds it.
Also Dwayne Bravo currently has hold most number of catches in IPL 6 as a fielder.
Two foreigner players out of 4 in playing XI and both of them performing marvelously well, which in itself speaks that the team management is great and recognizes their worth and hence picked them for the squad and keeps them every time in playing XI.
Also what many of the others would have not noticed is the fact that S Badrinath never gets replaced with any other player in spite of not given batting and he doesn't bowl either.

Answer is simple that he is the crisis man and he has done his work significantly well.
Whenever CSK is in a position that they have lost 2 quick wickets up the order, he is sent in to stabilize the inning and stop further loss of wickets and he has never let his team down.
He prevents wicket, scores run and sometimes even accelerates and bring his team to such a position from where Dhoni, Bravo, Albie Morkel or Ravindra Jadeja can launch the opposition out of the game.
Not once, not twice but several times, he has done the same and so he has earned himself a reputation and is a consistent member in Playing XI.
