Today is the clash between two South Indian Teams and both are at the same position in the point table. Whoever wins today win occupy the 2nd place with 6 wins in 8 games. Currently both Chennai Super Kings as well as Sunrisers Hyderabad have 5 wins in 7 games.
Perera and Sangakara will not be playing as the match is in Chennai and So Kock, White, Steyn and Sammy are the four foreigner players playing for Hyderabad.
Chennai Side has been winning the games one after the another and hence the side remains unchanged.
News from the ground is that Hyderabad has won the toss and elected to bat first. Dhoni also said that he even wanted to bat forst as the pitch might slow down a bit in later stage of the game.
Sunrisers batsmen batting first never looked at ease against Chennai bowlers except for Shikhar Dhawan in the first 16 overs. Dhawan played as if it was his second innings against Australia. Great batting from him as he remained unbeaten on 63 runs and scored in just 45 balls which included 10 boundaries.
Wickets kept falling at regular interval and a good total never looked like on the board. But the last four overs changed the scoreboard's look. Ashish Reddy and Sammy played a bit of Cameo where Reddy scored 36 runs in just 16 balls and Sammy scored 19 runs in just 12 balls.
Finally they managed to score 159 runs and with their superb and best bowling attack in this IPL season, they should manage to defend it.

Chennai came out to bat for a chase of 160 on a pitch which was getting slower and started off really well. Hussey again started scoring runs at quick pace but Vijay failed to deliver again. Hussey scored a quick 45 runs in just 26 balls before getting dismissed very unluckily. He scored 5 boundaries and 2 sixes in his innings.
Game got tensed when two wickets fell down quickly and run rate grew up. At that point of time Dhoni was stabilizing the innings but things went worse when Bravo played out a complete maiden over. Dhoni got loosened from there and Sunrisers lost it all from there.
Once Dhoni was on a score of 4 in 11 balls and when he started hitting the ball, he didn't even spare Dale Steyn. In 2 overs of Steyn, he blasted him 2 boundaries and 3 sixes. Dhoni brought Chennai victorious with a fine 67 runs without being dismissed in just 37 balls. He hit 7 boundaries and 4 sixes in his brilliant innings.
Game turner was when Dhoni was on duck and he was dropped by Mishra at Short Third man off Steyn's bowling. There was no stopping for Dhoni from there and he single handedly snatched the victory.
Dhoni was awarded the man of the match for his superb half century.
CSK is now equal in points with that of Bangalore in same number of matches.
Bangalore is ahead with Net Run Rate and so they are no. 1 and CSK rests in 2nd place. With this loss, Hyderabad are still in no. 3 position and still one of the favorites to make it to the playoffs.
