Second match of the day to be played out between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils.
Exciting news is that Lasith Malinga will play and Mumbai fans would have already started dreaming of those deadly yorkers coming out of his hand to uproot the stumps of Delhi batsmen.
Don't forget that Delhi has great bowling attack as well because Morne Morkel has returned back from South Africa and will be playing today's game. What a match this is going to be.
Delhi Daredevils have played 2 matches so far in IPL 6 and have lost both of them, so they will be looking forward to win this game anyhow. There is no Virender Sehwag today as well in the team.
Mumbai Indians have won the toss and have decided to bat first.

Irfan Pathan opens the bowling for Delhi Daredevils.
Ponting is on Strike.
Irfan Pathan bowls five consecutive dot balls to Ponting and takes the wicket in last bowl of the over.
That's how you do it boy. Great Bowling, you should not give your opponent to face your next over. Make him play 5 balls, don't give any run and then remove him off the last ball. Catch taken by Jayawardhane.

Oh ho,what a day for Jayawardhne. After taking the catch of Ponting, he has now hit the stumps with a direct throw and has run out Sachin Tendulkar. Dinesh Kartik denied the single and so Sachin turned back to make for the crease but Jayawardhene was brillinat there. Picked up the ball, aimed at non strikers end and hit the stumps with Tendulkar short of crease.
Very very good start for Delhi Daredevils and this is what they exactly needed.
Mumbai Indians will have to look for a partnership now. They are struggling at the moment.

After 9 overs, Mumbai Indians have recovered well. Thanks to valuable knock and fifty from Dinesh Karthik. He is having great start to the IPL this year.
Mumbai Indians are now 75 for the loss of 2 wickets.

Mumbai Indians have recovered greatly here. And they have recovered so well here that they have crossed 200 runs. This is the first time that a team has crossed this 200 runs mark in IPL 6.
Credit goes to Dinesh Kartik for his fabulous 86 runs off just 48 balls. He has hit 14 boundaries and 2 sixes in that innings of his.
Great contribution from Rohit Sharma as well where he scored an unbeaten 74 runs off just 50 balls where he has hit four boundaries and five sixes.
There was little cameo from Rayadu as well.
Mumbai Indians have posed a mammoth total of 209 runs and have set the target of 210 runs for Delhi Daredevils.
Can DD chase this one down? Lets find it out in some time.

Mumbai Indians have thrashed Delhi Daredevils by 44 runs. Chasing a target of 200+ is never easy and Delhi surrendered after scoring 165. None other than Juneja and Warner showed any signs of fight. Warner scored 61 runs off 37 balls. Morne Morkel scored 23 runs off just 9 balls which was not sufficient as the required run rate was too high.
Mumbai Indians have won 2 of their games out of three and Delhi Daredevils have lost three out of three.
They desperately need Virendra Sehwag now or else it might be too late. Jayawardhene and Warner seems not doing enough for winning cause of Delhi Daredevils.
