International Players for Caribbean Premier League CPL 2013

Good news. I didn't even come across this article on Caribbean Premier League anywhere other than Cricketwa. Good coverage. keep us updated with the latest news. I will be following it. If 5-6 such League tournaments start, year won't be boring at all. Just sit relaxed at home and keep watching T20. Wow.

I still remember his 6 sixes in the 2007 worldcup. He is a good bowler. As far as the CPL is concerned, Players like Gayle are from their and it will definitely push up the publicity of this league.

Ops! A good batsman. All the players who have retired from the international cricket gets a fair chance to play in these leagues, because they are no where bound to national or international tours.

H Gibbs is also known as electric fielder and once upon a time, he was rankked second best after Jonty Rhodes for his fielding. A quick pinch hitter who can score quick runs and if needed can stabilize the innings as well. He is a good cricketer to watch while playing and adorable. He was also a full time South African cricketer and played long and played with full commitment. Of course his six sixes came against a weaker side but after all hitting six sixes isn't a matter of joke.

With the likes of Jhonty Rhodes, AB De Villiers, H Gibbs and G Smith standing on the off side of the stump, even the best batsmen in the world will think twice before penetrating the ball in that area. Such is the class in these South African fileding side.

What about other players? Where are other big players from different countries? Why are they not being signed? Is it that they are not taking interest in CPL or is it that their board is not allowing them to? It would be a great news if other big names from India join this League as well.

@ PRERNAGHB It looks like the Dominace nad the market value of IPl is far and far more than any other country League. So it is natural that, the players will play for the IPL, rather then for the other league. But I am quit sure that, those players who are now retired will play for all leagues.  The best part to watch will be, which league gives strong competition to the IPL.
