What more you can expect from a match like the one that was played between Cobras and Barbados. Both team were good, as they say, winner can only be one team.
Ok so, Barbados played first and put up an very good score of 174 runs in front of the Cobras. Jonathan Carter was the star performer of this game as he scored 111 runs in just 68 balls. Also the opening batsman Dilshan scored good 42 runs in 21 balls.
Since this total was too much, cobras had to play really good. Levi and Amla provided the much needed start scoring 39 and 59 runs. But team scored exactly same runs as scored by the Barbados. So this match was a draw between both the teams and now one over eliminator was required to be played to decide the winner. Loosing this match could have cost both the team a lot as they would have found really difficult to go in the semifinals.
Cobras played the super over and because of the tight bowling by the Rampaul, they were just able to score 11 runs. So now it was 11 runs that Barbados, needed to score to win this match.
But Cobras also did good bowling and able to clinch this game from barbados. Very good game!!!
