First T20 World Cup Final Match was played on September 24, 2007 at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg between India and Pakistan. India batted first and scored 157 runs in 20 overs. Pakistan could only make 152 runs in 19.3 overs and got all out. India won this close match by just 5 runs. Irfan Pathan was the Man of the Match and Shahid Afridi got player of the series award.
