The Mumbai Indians from India entered the Tournament in the year 2010. Out of the four matches it played it lost two and won two. In 2011 it played six matches winning four, losing one and ending up in a tie with the other. However, its performance in 2011 qualified it for the finals and it emerged as the champions for that particular year. However in 2012, it showed a remarkable deterioration. It lost three matches out of the four it played. It has yet again entered in tournament this year. With the team and the members one has high-pitched expectations with the team.
