So this whole story iss about the Guyana Amazon Warriors Vs
St Lucia Zouks match being played at the Providence Stadium, Guyana. Well who won
the toss? St Lucia Zouks won and decided to field first. Starting for the
Guyana was good as LMP Simmons scored 38 runs. But as the course of the game
starting to pass, none of the team member actually contributed much for the
team. And also the regular falling of wickets was a bit of concern for them. They
had wickets in their hands, but they played slow and could just managed to
score 126 runs. From the Zouks side, S Shillingford was good in the bowling
department and took 3 wickets.
Now came the turn of the Zouks to show their batting. But
Tamim Iqbal departure for them was a big blow and he just scored 7 runs. But
then the coming batting line up hold the batting side very well especially players
like Misbah Ul Haq, Sammy. Misbah Ul Haq scored 49 runs and that involved 4
sixes also. With 5 wickets in Hand, Zouks easily reached their target and won the
match! None of the bowler except SP Narine was good from the Guyana side. So we
do saw a good match today with good bowling and batting that we got to see in
this match.
