The tri series between India, West India and Sri lanka will
start from the 28th June this year. All teams are prepared for this event
and they are ready to take on each other. But there is a big blow to the sri
lankan side. Because his star performer, Tilakratne Dilshan has been removed
from the squad as he was injured.
Another important players, Upul tharanga will replace the
Sri Lankan side and hence he has lot of responsibility on the shoulders. Also
since the injury of the Dilshan is serious, it will take around 4 to 6 weeks to
get fit for the play. Due to this dilshan is also having doubts as he may or
may not be able to play for the limited over series which will be played in the
south Africa.
The squad of the Sri Lankan side for the upcoming tri series
is as follows: Angelo Mathews (capt), Kusal Perera, Upul Tharanga, Kumar
Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Dinesh Chandimal (vc), Lahiru Thirimanne,
Jeevan Mendis, Lasith Malinga, Shaminda Eranga, Nuwan Kulasekara, Dilhara
Lokuhettige, Rangana Herath, Sachithra Senanayake, Ajantha Mendis.
Ajanth mendis will come to cricket matches and he will
surely gona impress the sri lankan cricket board with his performance. Also he
is a devastating bowler for the Indian side. Till then let’s hope Indian boys
