Libra Legends is one of the major squads participating in the soon-to-start Masters Champions League. It was the first MCL team to be unveiled back in November. The owner of the team is Sports & Entertainment Private Limited- which is headed by Pooja Jhunjhunwala, Hanwant Kahtri & Lalit Kiri. The team has got some of the best names from the world cricket & it’s legendary inclusions are Jacques Kallis, former Indian national cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly and Graeme Swann. In fact, the Legends can be said to be a fortunate name in the MCL list as they got to rope in the most expensive player at the auction- the South African maestro Kallis at $100,000. The other key auction players in the team are Brad Hogg & Ryan ten Doeschate.
Marshal Bond is the bowling coach for the Libran Legends. It’s to stress here that the team is not only the first MCL team to be unveiled but is also one of the first squads to inaugurate the championship with Gemini Arabians on January 28, 2016 at Dubai International Stadium. Kallis is definitely one of the best catches in the team given that he has always been a revered all rounder & the great player has just retired in 2014.
