Kingsmead

Kingsmead Cricket Ground is cricket stadium located in Durban, South Africa. The stadium is also known as Sahara Stadium Kingsmead this is because Sahara is the sponsor company of operatorship of stadium. This stadium was inaugurated by an international test match cricket between South Africa and England on January 18, 1923 and the first one day international played on this ground was between South Africa and India on December 17, 1992. The stadium possesses of a capacity of about 25,000 spectators and consists of two ends namely Umgeni End and Old Fort End. The stadium possesses South African cricket team as its tenant along with a local tenant KwaZulu-Natal Dolphins.
