The 4th match of the CPL 2020 was played between Guyana Amazon Warriors and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on August 19, Wednesday at Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad at 5:30 PM in LST. Guyana Amazon Warriors captain Chris Green won the toss and decided to field first.

Chris Lynn and Evin Lewis opened the inning for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Evin Lewis scored 30 runs while Ben Dunk scored 29 runs. The batting of St Kitts and Nevis Patriots collapsed badly. The captain Emrit scored 17 runs and helped team to have a total of 127 runs in their 20 over. Guyana bowlers bowled exceptionally well and Keemo Paul took most 4 wickets giving just 19 runs in his 4 over spell.

It was a small target of 128 runs for the warriors of Guyana but the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots bowlers also bowled good deliveries and gave a very good fight. Guyana openers got out early of the inning. Shimron Hetmyer again played a very beautiful inning for Guyana Amazon Warriors. He scored 71 runs on just 44 balls and helped team to chase the target. The bowlers of St Kitts performed well but could not win the game. Captain Rayad Emrit took 3 wickets with the ball but Guyana Amazon Warriros won the match by 3 wickets and that too in just 17 over.

Keemo Paul was selected as player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance. He took 4 wickets and destroyed the batting order of St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Guyana Warriors captain Chris Green praised the performance of his team bowling attack and appreciated the knock played by Shimron Hetmyer. Guyana Warriors won its 1st CPL 2020 game while it was the second defeat to St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in CPL 2020.
