The 2nd or last Test match of the series was held on January 3-7 of 2021 at Wanderers Stadium. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. D Karunaratne got out early, but K Parera made brilliant 60 runs for Sri Lanka. Anrich Nortje bowled brilliant bowling spell for South Africa. He took 6 wickets in 1st inning and pushed Sri Lankan team backwards. Sri Lanka team got all out on just 157 runs.
Dean Elgar played a quality inning for South Africa in 1st inning. He made a brilliant century and scored most 127 runs for South Africa. R Van der Dussen also made 67 runs for South Africa. South African team made 302 runs in 1st inning. V Fernando bowled brilliantly and took 5 wickets for Sri Lanka.
D Karunaratne played captains knock in 2nd inning and made a brilliant century. He scored most 103 runs for Sri Lanka. Lungi Ngidi took most 4 wickets for South Africa in 2nd inning. Sri Lankan team got all out on 211 runs. It was a small target of 67 runs for South Africa to win the match.
