India lost first ODI Match against Australia! Afghanistan v Kenya T20 Series - 2nd T20I

Venue: Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune
Toss Winner: Australia and choose to bat first. 
Winner of the Match: Australia won by 72 runs
Man of the Match:
Umpires: RA Kettleborough and VA Kulkarni. 

Today India and Australia were playing against each other and this was their first match of the 7 ODI’s series. Australian team won the toss and chooses to bat first. Their opening batsman provided the much needed start. For the first wicket they contributed 110 runs. PJ Hughes and AJ Finch scored 47 and 72 runs respectively. Then the middle order also performed quite well in their performance. GJ Bailey who came on the fourth number played very good innings. In his 85 runs knock out of 82 balls, 10 fours were hit by them. His much contribution contributed in a big manner for their team. Then players who came in the last over also scored runs and gave the much needed finish. So in 50 over match, they scored 304 runs. India was having a chasing score of 305 runs.  

 

Batting second India had bad start as they lost the Dhawan wicket in early score of 26 runs. Then Rohit Sharma and Virat kohli scored 42 runs and 61 runs to help the team steer out of the troubles mounting on them. But after their wicket fell, none of the other team member could able to score the runs. And slowly the run rate was mounting high. On the other hand, wickets were slowly started to fell. And in 49.4 overs, India scored 232 runs and got all out in it.
