India has started very well in this series, by posting their
first win in the very first match against the Zimbabwe team. Indian Won the
toss and choose to field first and their decision of doing so, worked really
well as they have won this match.
The starting for the Zimbabwe team went very good as they
were able to post 72 runs partnership for the first wicket with good contribution
from V Sibanda and Sikandar Raza. But after that, the Zimbabwe Side came down
like the stash of cards and none of theme was able to play big score. And they posted
a total of 228 runs with loss of 7 wickets and 50 over. The bowling department
of India was relatively good and Amit Mishra from India side bowled really well.
He took three crucial wickets.
Now came the turn of Indian batting side to show their
metal. But the starting of the Indian team was not that well and they lost
their star player Dhawan quickly. But then the century knock from the Virat
Kohli guaranteed that India wins this match. AT Rayaudu played really well and scored
63 runs. And with 31 balls remaining, India scored 230 runs and won the match.
Hence India is leading this five match series with 1-0.
