Somerset Cricket Team

Marcus Trescothick one of the best players that England has ever produced is the current captain of the Somerset County cricket club. This 38 year old opening batsman leads a team which has some talented young players. This club also enjoys the services of another England team batsman Nick Compton. He also on current form is one of the outstanding batsmen in the team. In the list of batsmen the team has a talented South African Alviro Petersen on board. Currently in the ongoing season he is the second best batsmen in the team after the captain.  The team comprises of some young talent which includes the Irish player George Dockrell. The bowling department of the team is led by the Australian bowler Dirk Nannes. Currently Lewis Gregory is one of the best bowlers and the highest wicket taker in the recent seasons. Alfonso Thomas on the other hand partners his team mate Gregory in taking wickets.
