Pakistan decided to bat first, had a pretty good start in the form of openers
Ahmed Shehzad and Sarfraz Ahmed. Both of the provided the much needed start for
team, as they scored 61 and 65 runs respectively. When these two were playing
it was looking like team will finish with a high score. But after their
dismissal, other players could not able to stand back, against the bowling
attack of Australia.
Team captain Misbah-ul-haq was only able to score 15 runs
out 29 balls. And the whole middle order got perished. From Australian side
Mitchell Johnson, the star bowler of the team, was once again proved to be
lethal as he took 3 wickets in 10 over and gave only 40 runs. Last match star
bowler Richardson was able to get only 1 wicket. But they bowlers were really
good as they restricted the opened to just a total of 215 runs. At one time, Pakistan was at 126 runs at loss
of 1 wicket only. Now Australian had to score 216 runs, to win this match, and
they did very good.
