The 2014 T20 World Cup assures interesting twists given its slightly distinct squad line-up in comparison to the sessions earlier. The 5th Twenty20 World will be hitting off with 16 teams for the first time – it will involve 10 full members as well as 6 associate members. The 10 full members comprise the Super 10 stage where 8 nations have already been selected based on topmost ICC Twenty20 rankings and the other two will be from the 6 associate members. Bangladesh has been entrusted to host the event from March 16-April 6.

In regards to T20 World Cup 2014 Groups, there are 2 groups for the 6 associate members- Group A & Group B.

Group A stands for Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong.

Group B involves Ireland, Zimbabwe, UAE & Netherlands.

The Super stage too involves 2 groups- Group 1 & Group 2.

The Group 1 includes England, Sri Lanka, South Africa, New Zealand and Group B winner.

Group 2 consists of India, Pakistan, Australia, West Indies & Group A winner.

The heavyweight names of course assure a spectacular powerplay while the rising ones will be trying their best to come up with an even fight against the esteemed cricket playing nations. Bangladesh, especially, can be expected to stand out given they are the host country this time.
