The fourth match of the Road Safety Series hosted by India was played at Mumbai on 11th of March between West Indies Legends and South Africa legends. Toss was won by South Africa Legends and they decided that they will bowl first.

Daren Ganga and Shivnarine Chanderpaul started off as openers for the West Indies Legends. They got off with a decent start scoring 31 runs in 32 balls and 21 runs in 17 balls scoring a total of 9 boundaries between them. Amongst other batsmen, Ricardo Powell (30 runs in 17 balls) and Carl Hooper (23 runs in 18 balls) delivered decent batting performances. None of the other batsmen could score above 21 runs before the end of their inning and the score-line halted at 143 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 8 wickets.

South African bowler Paul Harris showed the cricket world that he is still good with the ball as he bagged 3 wickets while allowing 21 runs in his 4 over spell. Amongst other bowlers, Albie Morkel took 2 wickets while Van der Wath and Ryan McLaren both managed to take a wicket each.

South Africa Legends were handed a target of 144 runs in the 2nd inning of the match. They got off to a slow start and never looked like they were in control of the game until the arrival of the great Jonty Rhodes and Albie Morkel. They both completed their half-centuries and made sure that South Africa Legends go through as winners. They finished the game in just 18.3 overs while losing 4 wickets. The West Indians delivered a decent bowling performance. Tino Best managed to take 2 wickets while Adam Sanford and Sulieman Benn both took a wicket each.

The man of the match was awarded to Albie Morkel for his classic performance.
