The 2020 Sri Lanka tour of Zimbabwe, 2 test matches series was organized. The second test match between the two teams was played at Harare Sports Club, Harare on January 27-31 of 2020.

The Sri Lankan team was led by opening batsman Karunaratne while all-rounder Sean Williams was the captain of Zimbabwe team. Zimbabwe won the toss and chose to bat first and batted very well. The Zimbabwe openers were unable to give a good solid start to team, but the most experienced player of the team Brendon Taylor, played a beautiful inning and scored a half-century and made 62 runs. At the same time, the captain of Zimbabwe team Sean Williams scored a century and played captains knocked and made 107 runs also the all-rounder Sikandar Raza scored a half-century and contributed important 72 runs that's why Zimbabwe put a massive total of 406 runs in their first innings. When the Sri Lankan team came to bat in first innings, Zimbabwe team was on top and played an unbelievable cricket. But Sri Lankan openers gave a brilliant start to Sri Lankan team and made a partnership of 94 runs for the first wicket. Unfortunately, both the openers left 6 runs short to their half-centuries. Again in this series, Angelo Mathews showed his class and played an outstanding knock of 64 runs. Sri Lanka could score only 293 runs in their first innings.

Zimbabwe in their second innings played very fast and declared their innings on 247 runs. Captain Williams and Brendon Taylor scored half-centuries, and Zimbabwe gave a target of 361 runs to Sri Lankan team. In 2nd innings, Sri Lankan batsman Kushal Mendis scored a not out brilliant century, but unfortunately, the five days of cricket could not decide the winning team, and the match was drawn. Sikandar Raza from Zimbabwe got the player of the match award.
