The 5th match of the Big Bash League for the year 2015/16 will be played between the Melbourne Stars and the Sydney Thunders. This will be 2nd match for both the teams in the tournament but it will be the 1st time that these two teams will be facing each other. This match will be a home match for the team from Melbourne and hence it will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
