India has a very good chance to win this trophy as usual because of strong batting line up and because of the on going IPL, most of the batsmen are in good form.

Bowling line up looks pretty good as well with the likes of Umesh Yadav who is bowling with good pace and will be utilized in pace friendly environment of England.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is extracting swing in sub continent and will be highly dangerous to handle by other teams if he gets going.

Irfan Pathan will come handy with both bat and ball and has lots to prove in the absence of Zaheer Khan.

Batting line up has nothing to be praised about but Opening pair will be a matter of concern. Who will open is not yet decided in the absence of Virendra Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, both of them have been dropped for the Champions Trophy because of poor form. Third slot is pretty much fixed for Virat Kohli and hopefully followed by either DInesh Karthik or Rohit Sharma. Then would come Dhoni followed by Ravindra Jadeja and Ashwin.

Batting is always solid for India because even after this 7 batsmen mentioned above, Irfan Pathan bats at no. 8 or can be shuffled with Jadeja or Ashwin as per the situation demands.
