Another fantastic game by the Rajasthan royals and continued dismal performance by the Punjab kept going in this match too. 

Punjab batted first and the impressive play by the Adam Gilchrist and the Shaun march helped them to reach a score of 145 in 20 overs with loss of 6 wickets.

Both of them scored 42 and 77 respectively. But as the score was not too much to be chased, Rajasthan smoothly won this match. 

Batting from Ajinkya Rahane  and Sanju Samson, both of them scored 59 and 47 runs, led Rajasthan to perfect win. They chased a total of 145 in 19 overs only, with loss of 2 wickets only. 

Rajasthan: 147/2 (19.0 Ovs)
Punjab: 145/6 (20.0 Ovs)
Rajasthan won by 8 wkts

SAYING OF SOME PLAYERS:

Gilchrist: 'I thought Rajasthan bowlers worked out a method to bowl on that wicket. It was slower then normal, they took the sting out of our batting.

Dravid: 'Really proud of the boys. Very happy with the quality of cricket we have played. The way our bowlers came back in the back end was superb, we had a meeting about our profligacy in the death overs.
Rajasthan is in such a form that it seems they can do nothing wrong at present. All credit goes to Rahul Dravid who has really led the team in such a way as nobody expected.
Continuous shuffling of batting order and using his bowlers is just out-standing.
None of his moves seems to have fallen apart and the outcomes were always in his favor.
Not only that, but he has been sensational with his batting performance as well and has few brilliant knocks along with Watson and Rahane.
They have almost stepped into playoffs and one more win out of three will surely seal their playoff place.
Hope their hard work and team play gives them a place in playoffs.

As of now, Kings XI Punjab looks like Royal Challengers Bangalore, that is completely dependent on David Miller fire work in the end to win each game.
David Miller famous century against Bangalore won't come everyday and that Punjab has to figure out quickly.
They need to drop out non performers and give chances to others who have not got opportunity because you never know that in this format of game a game winner might be sitting out there warming your bench.
Apart from that bowling unit has appeared sluggish too. They have been leaking too many runs in the death overs, poor fielding and dropping catches has become a regular show with them.
