Today is the clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians where Mumbai will be looking to win another match at their home ground in Mumbai while Chennai will be looking to carry on their winning habit to another level by winning this one.
Chennai has won 7 games in a row in this IPL season and equaled the record with Royal Challengers Bangalore and another win today will seal a new record for their having maximum continuous wins ever in IPL.
Mumbai too need this win desperately as they have not yet finalized their position for the playoffs.
3 teams are fighting for 2 positions and this win is very necessary for Mumbai to cast off pressure from their shoulders.
Key players to watch out for from Chennai will be Suresh Raina (centurion in last match), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (great captain and power hitter) and Mike Hussey (will be looking to carry his good form further and grasp Orange Cap).
Key players from Mumbai Indians will be Dinesh Karthik, K Pollard, Lasith Malinga and Johnson.
Rohit Sharma has been in tremendous form as well and he will try to make sure that Mumbai fortress remains intact.
Can Mumbai make it 2 on 2 against Chennai Super Kings in league matches of this IPL.

Sir Jadeja on Fire today. Took his 3rd wicket in the match and 2 big wickets of Sachin Tendulkar and Pollard respectively. Looks like Chennai super kings will win this match easily and if that happen then that will be a big blow for Mumbai Indians because they are giving chance to Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders to come closer in IPL Points table.

@pankaj: Not only that . If Mumbai Indians lose this match against Chennai Super Kings, it will be their first loss at home ground which Rohit Sharma calls it to be their fortress.
Losing this match means Mumbai Indians will give an opportunity to both Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad to go above and this can prove to be a disaster for them in making way to playoffs.
Sunrisers though may not have big net run rate but they have been playing good and they have better points than most of the teams.
Losing this game will greatly affect Mumbai Indians for sure.
They have anyways scored now 139 runs. Thanks to Rohit Sharma again who scored 39 runs in just 30 balls and Harbajan Singh who played a cameo of 25 runs in just 11 balls which included 2 boundaries and 2 sixes.
139 runs may not be good enough on this pitch but the fact can not be ignored that Mumbai Indians have good bowling line up as well.
Lasith Malinga and Johnson can be deadly with new balls and Harbajan Singh can put his experience in the spin department.
I feel that the game should go down to the last over as it is always the same with Chennai Super Kings.
This should really be a close contest I feel like.

It does not look like that Mumbai Indians will any how lose this match.
They have already picked up five major wickets of Chennai Super Kings.
After 9 overs, Chennai score is 40 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. It would have been 6 if Pollard had hold any of the 3 catches of Hussey.
It will be difficult for Chennai Super Kings to come out of this situation from here and win this one even if Hussey and Dhoni are still there.
And now Hussey departs as well on the first ball from Ojha in the tenth over.
Is CSK headed for the lowest score of the tornament?

And now Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been removed by Ojha too.
Chennai score reads 53 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Ravindra Jadeja is still at the crease.
Can he do something here?
I guess no as runs required are too many and it looks beyond his reach.
Has R Ashwin been there, one could have thought of something, but now Mumbai Indians have a strong hold here. 
Only thing that will be in the mind of Chennai Super Kings will be the 80 runs mark to avoid lowest total in IPL 6 season.
With Malinga 3 overs left and Johnson having to bowl remaining 2, it's a tough task for CSK tail enders.

Wow, what is happening here?
Mumbai Indians bowlers have completely thrashed Chennai Super Kings. 9 wickets down with just 55 runs on board.
Ravindra Jadeja is still stuck at crease with wickets falling at other end.
Completely outplayed here CSK and Mumbai Indians have indeed defended a low score at their fortress.
What a victory at crucial moment for Mumbai Indians here?
Simply amazing.
Chennai have won 7 games in a line in this season of IPL and now completely tattered with 9 wickets down with almost nothing on the score board.
T20 is certainly a game of fortunes and mis fortunes.
Huge defeat here for CSK and Mumbai Indians must surely have 14 points today.

And there is a great news for all the Mumbai Indians fans that Mumbai has thrashed Chennai by 60 runs and have bettered their run rate as well.
Chennai has been dismissed for just 79 runs which happens to be their lowest score in IPL ever.
Man in crisis S Badrinath could not contribute much and neither could centurion Raina.
Dhobi, Bravo, Ashwin, Vijay everybody were removed cheaply and in spite of 5-6 catches drop in the second innings, Chennai could not go past 80 runs.
One would wonder, what if those catches were held, what would have been the score?
Chennai is still on top of the table seated comfortably and their players hold both Orange Cap and Purple Cap but their confidence would have taken a heavy dent with this major blow.
Looks like nothing worked for Chennai in the second innings and batsmen came in and went out back to the pavillion in no time.
Since the start of the inning, it never looked like that Chennai could chase it, such was the impact of Mumbai Indian bowlers.
They did outplay Chennai in the bowling as well as the batting department.
Let's hear what captains have to say during the presentation.
