New Zealand Vs Bangladesh Test Series 2013 - 1st Test Match Drawn

But the opening for the Bangladesh was very bad as they lost their key player Tamim Iqbal on 0 runs. And the next batsman Anamul Haque got out at just 3 runs. So now Bangldesh had 2 wickets fallen in just 8 runs. But then a strong partnership started to build between, Marshall Ayub and Mominul Haque. Both of them scored 25 and 181 runs respectively and led the score of the teams to 134 runs. Haque was playing really good and his 181 runs included 27 fours. He was the one who ignited the energy of winning this match. Then the players that came in the middle order also performed really good in it. Mushfiqur Rahim scored 67 runs and gave the control start to the middle order.

Then came Sohag Gazi, and he scored a century in this match. His 101 runs include 10 fours and 3 sixes.  And Bangladesh was able to score 591 runs in total. So now they had put a lead of 32 runs on the New Zealand side. Bracewell from the New Zealand took 3 wickets in his 25 over and gave just 96 runs.

So in total Bangladesh scored really good and their players were outstanding today and scored much respectable score. Now New Zealand has to do something different to keep themselves alive in this match. 

 New Zealand came to play their 2^nd innings of this match. After the best performance by the Bangladesh side, it was the turn of New Zealand to show some good efforts. As usual their first opening pairs scored good runs. Fulton and Rutherford scored 59 and 32 runs each. Rutherford was the first man to get out. His wicket was taken by Hossain. Now came in Williamson. He scored 74 runs and got out when Gazi was bowling. Gazi was bowling really well in this match. Taylor who came fourth remained not out in the whole match. McCullum wicket was taken by the Gazi and he got out at 22 runs. Other players from their team could not able to score much runs. From the Bangladesh team, Sohag Gazi was the star performer and he took 6 wickets in 26 runs and gave just 77 runs. His economic rate was 2.96.

Now Bangladesh came for the Batting. This time Tamim Iqbal showed some good cricket and he score 46 runs, which included 8 fours. Other players also scored in double figures. Shakib Al Hasan scored 50 runs and remained not out. Bangladesh team scored 173 runs in total when match was called as the day ended.
