We saw some good cricket from these sides today. Afghanistan
and Kenya were against each other and this was their second match. Kenya batted
first and their start was good as opening players scored good runs. CO Obuya
and NN Odhianmbo came first in the opening pair. Obyua remained not out and
scored 690 runs out of 49 balls, in this score included 6 fours and 1 six.
Odhiambo scored 41 runs in 31 balls. So in total Kenya gave a target of 149
runs to be scored in 20 over.
Then Afghanistan came for batting. Sadly their opening
pair could not do anything exceptional. First wicket fell on 19 runs and second
on 23 runs. Only player who could able to score a respectable score is Nawro
Mangal, he scored 36 runs in 23 balls. The whole opening order and middle order
of Afghanistan was out in single figures. Slowly the whole team was moving
towards the defeat as the wickets were falling continuously and run rate was
also increasing fast. Finally in 20 over they were only able to score 115 runs.
