Toss Winner: Chennai Super Kings and they decided to field first.

Winner: Chennai Super Kings won by 8 wickets and still 25 balls were remaining.

Man of the Match:  MEK Hussey for his 58 runs out of 47 balls.

 A very normal match and one sided match was seen between the Chennai Super Kings and Brisbane heat. Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to field first. Batting First, Brisbane heat batting order completely failed and the opening batsman could not provide the much needed start. DP Michael who came first in opening pair, could not able to open his account and went for Duck. CA Lynn who came second scored some and also increased of the team little bit. But at the score of 29 runs, Brisbane lost their second batsman, JR Hopes got out at 20 runs. Then little while later Christian got out. The players who scored some decent runs were Lynn and Hartley, they scored 29 runs and 35 runs. So in total they scored 137 runs, with loss of 7wickets and in 20 over. From king side, R Ashwin was most economical bowler and he gave 10 runs in 4 over and took 1 wicket.

 

For Chennai Super Kings this score was not much and their opening pair was enough to chase this score. MEK Hussey and M Vijay contributed 75 runs for the 1st partnership. Murali Vijay was the first wicket to fell and he scored 42 runs out of 27 balls. Then came Raina and he scored 23 runs out of 15 balls. Hussey remained on the wicket till last and scored 58 Runs out of 47 balls. So Chennai Super King scored total of 140 runs in 15.5 over, with loss of 2 wickets.
