6th edition of Indian Premier League was started on April 3, 2013 and the final match of 6th IPL T20 was played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on May 26, 2012 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. This was the first edition of Pepsi IPL. Remember, No more DLF IPL, It's Pepsi IPL now. Mumbai Indians batted first and scored 148 runs in 20 overs. Chennai Super Kings got target of 149 runs but CSK could not achieve that target and lost the Pepsi IPL final match by 23 runs. We saw worst performance from CSK side for the first time in IPL.
K Pollard (Mumbai Indians) got Player of the Match award while Shane Watson(Rajasthan Royals) got Player of the tournament award.
