Welcome to the third game between the Kandurata Maroons and Otago. So Otago won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first Kandurata has a good starts as WU Tharanga, DSNFG Jayasuriya came for the batting. But Jayasuriya got out at 13 runs and the score of team that time was 25 runs. Then maroons lost their second wicket at a score of 52 runs and KC Sangakkara came in. He was the start of the previous match. But could not able to hold himself back for long and got out at just 15 score. On the other hand, Tharanga kept playing his game and scored 76 runs before getting out. Finally Maroons managed to put up a score of 154 runs. From otago side IG butler did good boelwing and took 3 wickets.
Now Otago had to chase 154 runs to win this game. They had a quite easy chase and including top order and fantastic play by the RN ten Doeschate (scored 64 runs out of 41 balls) helped them to seal the win.
