Another poor performance by the St Lucia Zouks. They defeated
the Hawksbills in the earlier match, but now this match against the Trinidad
and Tobago Red Steel they have lost it! Batting first, Zouks were quite slow in
their play and they lost their opening batsman, Tamim Iqbal in quick succession.
But the only star performer in this team who was responsible for putting some total
score was Andrew Fletcher. He scored 46 runs and remained not out. On the other
hand none of the other team members could actually perform well and mere total
of 99 was scored. Samuel Badree from red steel took two wickets.
For Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel, they got off to a great
start with Kevin O'brien and Adrian Barath Played good. Since the total runs to
chase were too less, so red steel easily scored that much and won the match
with 6 wickets in hand. They scored 105 runs in 17.5 over. So an easy wins for
the red steel. None of the bowlers from
the Zouks could be proved to be lethal for the batting line up of the Red
steel.
