Moin Khan has been chosen as the new chief of the Pakistan national team selection. Earlier this post was headed by the Iqbal Qasim, but now he is stepping down and transferring his status to Moin Khan. Although there are no changes done in to the selection committee and all the rest of the members will remain same.

Moin Khan is the most successful wicketkeeper for the Pakistan team and has served them more then a decade. He made his debut in the year 1990 and played for the Pakistan team till the year 2004. The he took retirement and opened his own cricket academy in the Karachi region.

He played around 69 matches as test and 219 ODI for the Pakistani team. After his retirement he also registered himself as a coach for the Indian Cricket league, sadly that leagued was banned and is now no more functional. In the ODI matches he has done around 271 wicket keeping dismissals.

People are expecting something better from this new selection and hopefully it will make the Pakistan team much stronger then now onwards. So, since he is from a cricket background, selection making will be easier and more soundful for the board. Till then we can hope that this team does better than earlier performances.
