Today is the match between Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai Indians are looking to top the chart where as Delhi will be looking to open their account in the points table by registering a win.
Latest News is that Sir Vivian Richards have been signed by Delhi Daredevils for Advisory role. Hope Viv Richards acts as Magician for them.
Players to watch out today will be Warner, Sehwag,Jayawardhene Merwe (playing first match of IPL 6), Russell (playing his first match of IPL 6) and Nadeem who has been the most successful bowler for Delhi so far in the season. Delhi has given an opportunity to Venu Gopal Rao as well.
Star studded team of Mumbai Indians and players to watch out for are Sachin, Ricky Ponting, Pollard, Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Karthik, Malinga, oh lord, whose name do I miss out from this team.
News from the center is that Mumbai Indians have won the toss and elected to bat.
Morne Morkel has been dropped and Russel is picked up.
Mumbai rests Johnson and gives an opportunity to Smith to open the batting with Sachin Tendulkar.
Can this opening pair really work for Mumbai Indians?

Mumbai opening pair worries continues as Smith who opened up with Tendulkar did not survive too long and lost his wicket in first six overs. Player in form Dinesh Karthik lost his wicket unluckily when Tendulkar hits a perfect straight drive and ball hits bowlers hand and uproot stumps.
However Tendulkar batted brilliantly scoring his first half century but strike rate wasn't that appealing but never mind as on the other hand Rohit Sharma played a gem of the innings.
He contributed 73 runs hitting 5 massive sixes and 5 boundaries. Pollard too came in the end and scored 19 runs in just 10 balls.
Overall Mumbai Indians have scored 161 runs for the loss of just 4 wickets.
Start wasn't that great as again only 24 runs were scored in first 6 overs which is the lowest score of this season.
Tendulkar score was 54 runs off 47 deliveries which included 3 boundaries and 2 sixes.
Mumbai Indians dugout will be happy as the opener has showed some glimpses of regaining form. What was more noticeable was Ponting pushing himself down the order and sent others before him. Is he doing another "Rahul Dravid here"? Lots to learn here as well for Mr. Ponting.

Finally Delhi has done it.
And what a way to get to their first win in the season of IPL.
Delhi Daredevils completely thrashed Mumbai Indians and chased that required score of 162 runs with only a wicket fall in just 17 overs which means that 18 balls were spared.
Virender Sehwag, the center of criticism every where outscored everybody with an unbeaten 95 in just 57 balls which included 13 boundaries and 2 sixes. Sehwag and Jayawardhene opened the innings instead of Warner and set up a massive win with a partnership of 151 runs.
From the first ball of second innings, it never looked like that Mumbai Indians could win it.
Looks like Sir Viv Richards magic has done it.
After the end of first innings, Pollard had said that the ball wasn't coming on to the bat but looking at the batting in the second innings, it looked like that the ball wasn't coming to the keeper but disappearing out of the boundaries.
Great display of batting from Virender Sehwag. Just amazing. He just outclasses everybody when he is in this form. Hope he carrier it forward. That is what is expected and needed from him if Delhi Daredevils wants to keep winning. Points on board for Delhi and with this loss, Mumbai Indians have 2 losses in a row and have lost 3 games out of 6 matches played.
