What batting and what a bowling by Srilankan side! In the yesterday
match Indian was looking nowhere in front of the Sri lankan side. They bowled
poor and after that, they batted poor.
The ground was Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica and Srilanka choose
to bat first. Although Indian won the toss but they choose to field. From the
very starting of the game, Srilankan batmsn were looking at their peek form and
they were smashing balls all over the places. The partnership between WU
Tharanga and DPMD Jayawardene was the thing that was enjoyed by everyone, especially
the Tharanga batting.
Sri lanka lost only one wicket and they managed to put of a
massive score in front of India, a score of 348. Indian needed 349 runs to win
over this game and a run rate of almost 7 per over was pre requisite. The worse
bowling was done by the UT Yadav and Ishant Sharma from Indian side.
On the other hand, the start of India side was not very good
and Indian lost their key wickets as Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhwan got out
early. And then as usual, India batting side feel like stash of cards.
Bowling side of Sri lanka looked more impressive
and discipline bowling was done by their bowlers.
