The 2nd T20 match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe was played on the 11th of March at Dhaka, in Bangladesh. Zimbabwe looked to kill their decent poor run off form in both ODI and T20 format against Bangladesh as they could not bag a single win in their tour of Bangladesh.

Toss winners were Bangladesh and they decided that they will bowl first.  The Zimbabwean fans were shocked to see no improvements in their batting order. The only decent performance came from Brendan Taylor as he scored 59 runs in 48 balls while staying on the pitch until the end of the Zimbabwean inning. The Bangladeshis performed in typical fashion as none of their bowlers conceded more than 30 runs to be scored on their balls. Mustafizur Rahman and Al-Amin Hossain bagged two wickets each whereas trio Mohammad Saifuddin, Mahedi Hasan, and Afif Hossain managed to get a wicket each. The Zimbabweans gave Bangladesh a 120 run target which was not a big one for the mighty hitters of the Bangladeshi batting line-up.

As expected, the Bangladeshis did not fall short of good batting performances as they achieved the second T20 victory over Zimbabwe in just 16 overs. Liton Das played 60 runs in 45 balls and remained on the pitch throughout the 2nd inning. Mohammad Naim scored 33 runs in 34 balls while Soumya Sarkar played a short 20 run inning to see them victorious. Zimbabwe again delivered a poor bowling performance with the only wicket taken by Chris Mpofu but he also conceded the most runs (27 runs in 3.5 overs). Carl Mumba conceded 26 runs in 3 overs without taking any wickets. The Zimbabwean bowlers also gave away 7 extras. The Bangladeshis once again stood victorious and continued their winning streak.

The man of the match was awarded to Liton Das.
