The second T20 match of the series between SACHIN Blasters and Warne warriors was played at the Minute maid park Stadium in Houston on 11th November. It was a day and night affair with second innings played under lights. Warriors won the match by 57 runs and took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series. Blasters won the toss and chose to field. For the second match, GANGULY, LANCE KLUSENER and GLEN MCGRATH were included in team. Hayden and Vaughan opened the innings in style as the two caressed boundaries after boundaries of SHOAIB and MCGRATH. The partnership was broken with the introduction of Graeme SWAN in attack. He picked up the crucial wicket of his fellow country man VAUGHAN after he scored quick fire 30 runs off 21 balls.

KALLIS came in after the fall of wicket and he along with Hayden build the innings which later on exploded with a mind blowing knock of 70 runs of juts 30 balls. From the blasters team, Lance KLUSENER was the most effective bowler however the innings of SANGA took the match away from the blasters as they posted a total of 262 runs on the board in their allotted 20 over. PONTING also contributed by hitting a swashbuckling notch of 41 runs of 16 balls to accelerate the scoring rate.

Score in excess of 250 runs was a mountain to climb for the Blasters however TENDULKAR started on a positive note hitting out 33 runs off 20 balls. The master blaster hit 3 fours and 2 sixes during his short stay at the crease. LARA, JAYWARDENA and GANGULY barely could do anything with the scoring rate and everything seemed to end for Blasters when they were reduced to 130/6. Late flurry from Pollock with 55 of 22 balls and a cameo from swan hitting 22 runs of 8 balls got the blasters past 200 nevertheless they still lost the game by 57 runs. KC SANGKARRA was adjudged the man of the match for his superlative innings.
