The Australians are all set to be on tour in Bangladesh in August 2021 to play a 5 match T20 series against the hosts. The T20 series is going to be play an important role for the preparation of T20 world cup 2021 series. Recently, Bangladesh Cricket Board and Cricket Australia confirmed the commencement of the series.
The dates and venues of the 5-match T20 series were confirmed by both cricket boards on July 2021. All T20 matches will be played inside Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Dhaka. The Bangladeshis are on red-hot form after whitewashing Zimbabwe in a three-match ODI series and a two-match T20 series during Bangladesh’s tour of ZImbabwe. They won all the 5 matches over the course of both the series. Almost every teammate on their squad is performing well consistently even with skipper Shakib Al Hasan out for an unpredicted duration.
