Knights, formerly also called as Eagles, represents the Bloemfontein city of the South Africa. They are among the successful team in the Ram Slam Tournament. They have won the title two times and also were runner for one time in the year 2008-2009 against the Cape Cobras. They won two titles, in 2003 and 2005, but after that, there performance is not that good as it should be or to be expected from them. Knights have their home ground at Chevrolet Park, Bloemfontein. Knights is a name which is used for two teams in combined, namely: Free State cricket team and Griqualand West first class cricket. Some of the star players in this team are Morne van Wyk, Ryan McLaren, Dean Elgar. Boeta Dippenaar will lead the team from the front and Sarel Cilliers will be the coach for this team.
