Today is the match between Sun Risers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals.
Both these teams were estimated to be under dogs but they are currently at number 3 and number 4 on the point table. Sunrisers have won 5 in 8 games while Rajasthan have won 4 in 7 games.
Both the team need this win desperately to make their chances in the playoffs as much sure as possible.
Sunrisers have their batting worriers but a strong bowling attack well led by Dale Steyn (fast bowling department) and Amit Mishra (spin bowling department) have always covered poor performances with the bat.
Today Perera, Sangakara returns and so Batting Line up looks quite strong but they need to fire.
On the other hand Rajasthan has got pretty well combined team and Flaukner was their main bowler last game. Lots depends on him along with the likes of Cooper, Trivedi and Watson. Do not forget out Chandela and Brad Hodge if spin is needed. They are handy as well.
News from the center is that Sunrisers have won the toss and elected to bat first. Sunrisers are playing Pererna, Sammy, Sangakara and Steyn as four foreign players. Quite interesting.
Can we see some fire from Hyderabad team today? They really look good today.

Wow, what a great bowling it has been from Rajasthan Royals.
They look like will win this match in no time.
Only six overs has been bowled so far by Rajasthan and more than half the unit of Sunrisers Hyderabad is back into their pavillion.
Score board reads 29 runs for the loss of 6 wickets at the end of 6 overs. Hyderabd has been blown off their feet by Rajasthan Bowlers.
Flaukner being the main culprit behind this. He has already taken 3 wickets in his 2 overs. Chandela has taken 2 and Cooper has taken 1.
As per my opinion, Hyderabad may not even bat full 10 overs the way Rajasthan Bowlers are bowling. Word to describe them is "Simply on Fire". Climate at Jaipur Stadium is too hot and bowlers are firing and Sunrisers are just flattened.

And this has been a great comeback by Sunrisers Hyderabad. All thanks to Darren Sammy for his glorious Half century which took Hyderabad from 29-6 to 144 for the loss of 9 wickets. He made his highest score of T20 format that is 60 runs. He struggled throughout the game with the heat of Jaipur which was clearly evident. Even then his running between the wickets was good. Great contribution from Amit Mishra, Ashish Reddy and Dale Steyn in the end whose little cameo took Hyderabad to a competitive total and the bowlers have something on the board to defend that. Hyderabad all of a sudden are the favorites here as they have really good bowling attack and they have past records of defending low scores in this season.
In the meanwhile Faulkner has the purple cap for IPL 6 currently and he has also picked up first 5 wicket haul of IPL 6 season.
He has picked up 16 wickets in just 6 matches of IPL 6.

Rajasthan were too good for Sunrisers Hyderabad today apart from their death bowling. Rahul Dravid opened with Ajinkya Rahane today and Rahane became the early victim to some ferocious bowling from Steyn who was just too good and firing some of the brilliant bowls you will ever see even in test matches.
Then came in Shame Watson and along with Rahul Dravid, they steadied the innings. Once Watson was well set, he just bombarded. he scored an unbeaten 98 runs (which could have been his consecutive hundred in this IPL 6 season) which included 13 boundaries and 4 sixes and brought Rajasthan victorious.
James Flaukner was awarded the man of the match award for his five wicket haul.

Hyderabad risers have performed quite well in this tournament, even they have no star players, I am hoping that they will continue their journey with a good performance.

@Skyshot: What according to you is classification  of Star players? I hope you don't mean 100 centuries or some 18000 runs in International cricket and scoring 25% of centuries for losing cause of the team.
You wanted to know who the star players are for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Here you go.
Cameron White: His big hitting skills and 2 sixes in the super over against Royal Challengers Bangalore brought them victory against them where mostof the teams have already lost to RCB in IPL 6.
Sangakara: Mere class, 10,000 runs in International cricket, classical drive on off side, great wicket keeper, great captain. What else do you need?
Thisara Perera: Great all rounder, pace bowler, pinch hitter, amazing fielder anywhere on the filed.
Dale Steyn: World's best bowler currently, nicknamed as flame thrower when he bowls.
Amit Mishra: Three hat -tricks in IPL seasons.
Come on @skyshot: You got to be kidding me with the word Star Players....

Compare these players with team player. Don't you think they are little off the track. But we should not forget that RR won 1st tournament with "Non star players" and they are doing quite good in IPL 6.

What matters most is the performance  and everything as they say is a history.

Come on man, Kolkata is losing as well, does that means Kallis is not a team player.
What a shame on cricket study?
Let this players play few games, let them click, let them perform, let them live up to the expectations of their franchises.
Sunrisers have gone through entire restructures with new coach as well. Let them adapt to the situation and they will be back as strong as no body else.

That's what i was saying, before this whole conversation started. I like the way this team is playing and this surely healing the dilemma of people those who say Hyderabad earlier performance in IPL 1, .... seasons.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is a team which has gone completely re-constructed with new players and new coaches.

The combination of new players have also worked for them and they have really played well in IPL 6.

If they have put asmall target, their bowlers have bowled well to defend that as well. There bowling unit is full of talents and they should really make it to the playoffs still.
