1st Champions League T20 was played between New South Wales and Trinidad & Tobago in 2009 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. In that first CLT20 final match, New South wales batted first and scored 159 but in response, T&T could just scored 118 runs and got all out in just 15.5 and thus New South Wales won the first Champions League T20 by 41 runs. Brett Lee got Man of the Match award for score highest 48 runs in just 31 balls which turned the game. Also he got man of the series award in the First Champions League T20.
