1. Michael Hussey and Mitchell Johnson (53* Runs in 2010)

They have done this feat while playing against Pakistan in the 2nd semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2010. Australia needed 192 runs to reach the final in which Michael Hussey made an unbeaten 60 runs and Johnson supported him. They have achieved the target in 19.5 overs and thus defeated Pakistan by 3 wickets, Hussey was named for the Man of the Match for his match-winning innings.

2. Brad Haddin and Mitchell Starc (17 Runs in 2014)

The pair of Brad Haddin and Mitchell Starc is at 2nd position for making a 17 runs partnership in T20 World Cup for Australia. In the 23rd match of the T20 World Cup 2014, Australia put a total of 178 runs against the West Indies in which Haddin and Starc contributed 17 runs in pair for the 8th wicket but Australia could not defend the total and lost match by 6 wickets.

3. Michael Hussey and Brett Lee (16* Runs in 2009)

4. Mitchell Johnson and Brett Lee (16 Runs in 2009)

The pair of Mitchell Johnson and Brett Lee stands at the 4th position for contributing a record 8th wicket partnership in T20 World Cup for Australia. While playing against Sri Lanka in the 8th competition of T20 World Cup 2009, Johnson and Lee scored 16 runs in pair for the 8th wicket, Australia gave a target of 160 runs which was easily achieved by Sri Lankan batters in 19 overs. 

5. Brad Hodge and Mitchell Johnson (15 Runs in 2007)

The pair of Brad Hodge and Mitchell Johnson is sitting at the 5th position in the list for contributing a record 8th wicket partnership in T20 World Cup for Australia. In the 4th match of ICC T20 World Cup 2007 against Zimbabwe, Australian batters struggled from the beginning and put a total of 138 runs only on the scoreboard in which Hodge and Johnson added 15 runs for the 8th wicket.
