Misbah-ul-Haq was named Man of the Match for his match-winning 66 runs and Shoaib Malik also contributed crucial 52 runs.

The 2nd highest partnership of 61 runs for the 5th wicket was scored by Shahid Afridi and Umar Akmal against South Africa in the 21st match of T20 World Cup 2010 at Gros Islet. Shoaib Malik struck unbeaten 54 runs very aggressively from just 18 balls that helped Pakistan to win the match by 72 runs, and thus Malik was named as Man of the Match for his match-winning innings.

The pair of Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi stands at the number 4 position for adding a record 5th wicket partnership of 47 runs against Australia in the 6th match of ICC T20 World Cup 2010. Pakistan batters struggled from the beginning while chasing a target of 182 runs, but Afridi and Misbah-ul-Haq tried to save the match but could not achieve the target and lost the match by 34 runs.
