In the T20 format of cricket, there are a few game-changing partnerships noted at the 3rd wicket. D Conway and Glenn Phillips of the New Zealand team had made a record partnership of 184 runs for 3rd wicket in T20I against West Indies on November 29, 2020, at Mount Maunganui. Glenn Phillips had made a brilliant century and scored 108 runs in just 51 balls. D Conway had made not out 65 runs in just 37 balls.

Dawid Malan and Eoin Morgan of England are on the 2nd spot on the list. They had made a record partnership of 182 runs against New Zealand at Napier back in 2019.  Dawid Malan had played a brilliant inning of 103* in just 51 balls. Eoin Morgan had contributed 91 runs in just 41 balls in the big partnership. Morgan had smashed 7 sixes in his inning but left 9 runs short to his century.

Alex Hales and Eoin Morgan of England had made 152 runs partnership against Sri Lanka back in 2014 at Chattogram ground. On chasing a big target of 190 runs on the big stage like T20 World Cup, Alex Hales had played his career-best T20I inning and made not out 116 runs in just 64 balls. Eoin Morgan had played his role brilliantly and made 57 runs. Alex Hales had also finished the game for England and won the player of the match award.

Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson from New Zealand had made a record opening partnership of 137 runs against Zimbabwe in Auckland on February 11, 2012. Martin Guptill had made not out 91 runs in 54 balls and Kane Williamson had contributed 48 runs in partnership.

Moeen Ali and Eoin Morgan had made 135 runs partnership for 3rd wicket for England against Australia in 2015 at Cardiff stadium. Moeen Ali had made not out 72 runs and Eoin Morgan had smashed 74 runs in just 39 balls. Morgan had smashed 7 huge sixes in his innings and led the team from the front. 

Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina had also made the highest 3rd wicket partnership for the Indian team in T20Is. They had made 134 runs partnership against the Australian team in Adelaide Stadium on January 26, 2016. Virat Kohli had made not out 90 runs in just 55 balls and played the lead role in partnership while Suresh Raina had contributed 41 runs in partnership.

Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell had made the highest 3rd wicket partnership for the Australian team. They had made 118 runs partnership against Pakistan in 2014 at Dhaka stadium. Babar Azam and Harris Sohail hold the highest 103 runs partnership for the Pakistan team against England.
