Bangladesh has been out of the international cricket scene for quite some time now. New Zealand Cricket Team is coming on a tour to Bangladesh to engage in a Bangladesh vs New Zealand Cricket Series. This home series for the Bangladesh cricket team will start in October of 2013. It is a bilateral series that is especially organized by Bangladesh.
The first part of the tour is a Bangladesh vs New Zealand Test Series. There will be a total of two test matches in this test series. The official date for the starting of this Bangladesh vs New Zealand is 9th October, 2013. Chittagong in Bangladesh is the venue for the first test match in this series. The second test match will again take place in Mirpur. The first test matches will be held at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh and the second one at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Bangladesh. Both Bangladesh and New Zealand cricket teams have experienced players with international cricket experience.
The captain of the Bangladesh cricket team is Mushfiqur Rahim. He is a right handed wicket keeper. The captain of the New Zealand cricket team is Brendon McCullum. He is also a right handed wicket keeper. Both the captains are equally capable of leading their teams towards victory.
The whole New Zealand Tour of Bangladesh includes two test matches, three ODIs and one Twenty-Twenty Match. The end of the New Zealand vs Bangladesh series will take place on November 6th, 2013.
