Barisal Burners Cricket Team

Barisal Burners is the domestic cricket team based on Barisal, and a franchise of Bangladesh Premier League. The team is owned by ALIF SSL Sports Holdings Ltd. and possesses Barisal Divisional Stadium as their home ground. The team was formed in the year 2012 with inauguration of Bangladesh Premier League. The team was one of the two finalist teams of the very first season of Bangladesh Premier League but unfortunately was not able to win and had to be the runners-up of the season. The team is captained by Azhar Mahmood from Pakistan and Sarwar Imran is the coach of the team.
