South Africa vs Pakistan ODI Series 2013 Schedule


The South Africa Pakistan Tour of 2013 started on February 1, 2013 and is scheduled to go on till March 24, 2013. This is an international bilateral cricket series between the two countries and its being hosted by South Africa. This bilateral series is a major part of the Future Cricket Tour Programs or the FTP which is organized directly by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The first ODI match will be held between the two teams in Chevrolet Park on March 10, 2013. The next match will be held on March 15, 2013 at Super Sport Park. In total there will be 5 ODIs to be played in this test series. The other matches will be held on March 17, March 21 and March 24, in The Wanderers Stadium, Kingsmead and Willowmoore Park respectively. After a politically controversial year surrounding the Pakistani cricket team and the country, this team has come out as strugglers and they still have been able to get back on their feet, leaving the past behind them. After their impressive teamwork in the Asia Cup Series, Pakistan stands out to be a very tough competition for South African the South Africa Pakistan Tour of 2013. The current captain of the Pakistani team’s ODI and test matches is Misbah ul Haq. South Africa on the other hand also has a strong hand in this series and has always shown a very good comeback no matter what the conditions are. They are being lead by AB de Villiers.
