St Lucia Zouks won the toss in the match and elected to field first. The Hawksbills managed to have a good start to their innings as the opening pair scored 35 runs in 4.4 overs. Kieran Powell was the first to go as he scored quick 27 runs in 16 balls before giving away his wicket to Garey Mathurin. Johnson Charles and Ricky Ponting managed to have a 50 run partnership taking their team to a score of 86 before losing the wicket of Charles. Ponting too lost his wicket in the next 2 over of the game. Later Devon Thomas scored some quick 32 runs in 18 balls. This quick innings helped the visitors reach a score of 166 runs at the end of 20 overs. Albie Morkel was the best bowler for the home team taking 2 wickets.
