The 10th T20 match of Pakistan Super League 2021 was fought between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United at National Stadium, Karachi on 27 Feb  2021. Islamabad made the two changes in his team, they included Fawad Ahmed and Paul Stirling in place of Zafar Gohar and Lewis Gregory to strengthen the batting lineup. The Zalmi won the toss and invited the opposition to bat first. Paul Stirling and Alex Hales came out to the middle and Wahab Riaz got the new ball in hand to open the attack.

Wahab Riaz started the bowling very well and got the wicket of Paul String from his 4th delivery of the very first over. Afterward, Phil Salt came to join Hales but could not give enough support to Hales and was dismissed by Saqib Mahmood. Islamabad had lost two wickets at the score of 38 runs and came under pressure. The batsmen were struggling and could not face Peshawar bowlers and the entire squad bowled out at the score of 118 runs only in 17.1 overs. Alex Hales tried well but did not get enough support from other batsmen. He made 41 runs from 27 balls and Wahab Riaz did a wonderful job and took 4 wickets for his team. Saqib Mahmood also performed well and took 3 wickets from his 2.1 overs only. Peshawar got the target of 119 runs from 120 balls to win the match.

Imam-ul-Haq and Kamran Akmal were sent on the ground to chase the target and Hasan Ali got the new ball in hand. Hasan bowled really well and got the first breakthrough from his 3rd ball. Peshawar lost the first wicket of Imam-ul-Haq and then Tom Kohler-Cadmore came to join Akmal. But Akmal also could not stay longer and was sent back by Mohammad Wasim in the 2nd over. The Zalmi had lost both the openers at the low score of 6 runs only. That was not a good start but then Tom Kohler-Cadmore handled the situation and made 46 runs for his team. Finally, Peshawar got the target very comfortably as that was not a big target and registered their 3rd victory in the PSL 2021.

Peshawar Zalmi won the 10th match of PSL 2021 by 6 wickets with 7 balls remaining and Wahab Riaz was the Man of the Match.
