The second match between the two teams was held at the same venue in Bulawayo city on 28th October 2015. Zimbabwe once again got lucky with the toss and elected to bat first however they lost the match by 5 wickets and also the series by 2-0. It was a thrilling encounter as the home team was keen for an equalizer in the series. ZADRAN continued to be the nemesis for ZIMBABWE as the opener CHIBHABHA was dismissed by him for no score. SIKANDAR RAZA and SC WILLIAMS got down rebuilding the innings however the former got out at the score of 30. He was replaced by MUTUMBAMI who stabilized the innings along with ERVINE and stitched a partnership of 55 runs for the third wicket. In lower middle order CHIGUMBURA hit a little cameo of 33 runs from 28 balls studded with 3 fours helping the hosts to post an above par total of 190 runs in the allotted 20 over. Afghan bowlers especially DAWLAT ZADRAN was impressive in his spell by picking 2 crucial wickets for 24 runs. He was ably supported by AMIR HAMZA who also chipped in with 2 wickets.

SHAHZAAD and USMAN GHANI started confidently with a huge opening stand of 95 runs. GHANI scored a sensational knock of 65 runs from 45 deliveries and laid the foundation of on of the biggest run chases for Afghanistan. NAIB also rose to the occasion in the middle order and hammered 56 runs of 31 deliveries to torment the Zimbabwe attack and overhaul the target. He was brutal in his approach by hitting 7 fours in the scintillating knock. MASAKZADA and MPOFU were put under the pump right away as they leaked runs at the rate of more than 10 per over. CHIBHABHA was the only saving grace for the home team with 2 wickets however his economy was nothing to write home about. Afghanistan reached the target of 190 runs in last over with 5 wickets to spare. GULBADIN NAIB was declared the man of the match with  his all round performance with bat and ball.
