The Indian cricket governing authority (BCCI) and Cricket South Africa has confirmed the 4 T20 international match’s bilateral series between India and South Africa when India will travel to South Africa in the month of January 2022. The 4 T20I matches series will start with the first match which will be contested at Newlands on 19 January 2022, then Newlands will host the second T20I too on 21 January. The last two T20I matches will be conducted at Boland Park on 23 and 26 January 2022.
Most probably, the Indian team will play under the leadership of Virat Kohli but there is no official announcement from BCCI till now regarding the captaincy. On the other side, Temba Bavuma is the T20I captain of South Africa currently. Just after the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, it would be exciting to watch both the teams against each other in the T20 series in South Africa.
